Summary of episode 6

The previous episode of Western world Season 4, titled Fidelity, was directed by Andrew Seklir and written by Jordan Goldberg and Alli Rock. The episode revolved around Charlotte interrogating the last copy of Caleb’s host to understand why he was the first atypical human being. She told him that Frankie was still alive and that she had hours before her host body degraded.

Caleb found a way out of his holding cell and discovered the corpses of a previous host copy of himself who had died while trying to escape. He reached the antenna and sent Frankie an apology before collapsing. Charlotte revealed that she engineered her escape, but she was disappointed that her message to Frankie didn’t reveal anything about how the outliers infected the hosts.

Caleb then claimed that the suicide hosts were simply trying to escape Charlotte’s control, so Charlotte killed and replaced Caleb’s host. Also, Bernard and Frankie repaired Maeve’s body while transferring her data to a newer host control module.

Bernard warned Frankie that one of her team members was replaced by a copy host and that it was her team leader, Jay, who attacked her. Jay heard Caleb’s apology, but Maeve intervened and killed him.
