On Sunday 5 June, everyone in the UK can watch Wales take on either Scotland or Ukraine in the FIFA World Cup play-off final.
The crucial game will see the winner secure a seat at the FIFA World Cup finals in Qatar in November this year and, according to agreements between Sky Sports and the British public service, will be shown free on ITV in England, S4C in Wales and STV in Scotland broadcast station.
The deal means everyone in Scotland and Wales can get behind their national teams on Sunday to reach the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The game, which will also be shown on Sky Sports, is the culmination of a long qualifying campaign for both nations after the match between Scotland and Ukraine was initially postponed following Russia’s invasion while Wales beat Austria 2-1 in March.

ITV sporting director Niall Sloane said: “This agreement ensures that all football fans can broadcast the crucial World Cup play-off final for free. The deal with Sky Sports gives home nations fans the opportunity to watch their team advance to the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which we hope our viewers will enjoy.”
Bobby Hain, STV’s Managing Director of Broadcast, said: “Having entered discussions with Sky Sports and worked closely with them to reach an agreement, we are delighted that this potentially historic moment in Scottish international football will be on view for all to see will be free on STV.
“Before that, of course, there is still a crucial game to come, but regardless of the result, it will be extremely exciting to see international football again at STV next Sunday.”

Scotland v Ukraine will be broadcast live on Sky Sports on Wednesday 1 June at 19.45.
