The Institute for Innovation, Science and Sustainability offers Bachelor programs in the Institute’s four main disciplines, Business, Engineering, Information Technology, and Science, and course-based Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, and Master’s programs.

You will work independently in carrying out teaching and research activities assuming a leadership role within the Institute in one or more of the areas of teaching, research and administration.

You’ll:

  • provide academic leadership in information technology;
  • provide leadership for the development, implementation, and monitoring of student success and retention strategies;
  • undertake international caliber research and generate research income; Y
  • supervise research students at the doctoral, master’s and honors levels.

About you

You will work as part of the Institute’s academic and administrative staff team, supporting the Institute’s overseas association by teaching and conducting overseas marketing activities, providing expertise in developing research programs in Computer Vision and Machine Learning. .

You will own:

  • the ability to attract funding for research and/or consulting from a variety of sources;
  • experience in a relevant area, including participation in interdisciplinary projects;
  • a strong track record of supervising doctoral students through to completion; Y
  • experience in the constitution, direction and management of research groups.
