Outlander star Sam Heughan shared some exciting personal news with fans, and congratulatory messages poured in.

And now he’s added to that excitement by announcing that they’ll have the chance to see it up close and personal, as he’ll be making two in-person appearances to celebrate the book, titled waypoints, in October.

Sharing the news on Monday, the Scottish actor revealed that ‘An Evening with Sam Heughan’ will take place at McEwan Hall in Edinburgh, Scotland on October 23 and the Barbican in London, England on October 24.
“Celebrating my new memories ‘Waypoints’ in Edinburgh and London,“he captioned the ad.”Join me for an evening discussing the book and my journey to the highlands. It should be a wonderful evening, excited to see you all in person!”

For those who weren’t lucky enough to attend the events, Sam also revealed that they will be available live globally.

Naturally, his followers were quick to share their excitement and congratulate him on the news, with one replying, “Congratulations! I won’t miss this for the world!”

Speaking about the book, Sam previously admitted that he went on the journey to challenge himself, explaining: “Waypoints It’s a memory with a difference! I wanted to tell the stories and share the experiences that have shaped me, but to do so I needed to challenge myself and spend time in my own company, away from the distractions of everyday life.
“And for me there is no better place to reflect than in the wild Scottish Highlands.”
