‘Macross Frontier’ Anime Films Tickets Now Available

Fathom Events is finally selling tickets for Macross Frontier: The Wings of Farewell. This anime movie sequel to Macross Frontier: The Fake Singer will appear in the original Japanese audio with English subtitles. If you want to watch the English dub for some reason, then you’re out of luck for now. You’ll have to wait later to find out when the English dub will arrive.

Macross Frontier: The Wings of Farewell will hit theaters on June 30, 2022. You can purchase tickets directly from Fathom Events. Macross Frontier: The Fake Singer Y Macross Frontier: The Wings of Farewell are the 2 anime movies of the anime series of the same name. Satelight and Eight Bit are the animation studios behind the fake singerwith Satelight only behind The wings of farewell. Both anime films feature Shōji Kawamori as director, with Hiroyuki Yoshino and Kawamori working as writers. Yoko Kanno composed the music for both anime films.

As for what those anime movies are about? Well, Fathom Events has a synopsis for Macross Frontier: The Fake Singer down:

“The year is 2059. The Macross Frontier fleet is heading towards the center of the galaxy when it encounters a hostile alien species known as the Vajra. A concert by touring pop star Sheryl Nome becomes ground zero for an attack in which both Alto Saotome flight school trainee and aspiring singer Ranka Lee are caught up in the chaos.
