Johnny Depp has been in the spotlight for the past few months due to his legal battles with ex-wife Amber Heard.
Johnny Depp, a beloved and iconic actor with a loyal following, is known for his work in the pirates of the Caribbean franchise as Captain Jack Sparrow. Furthermore, he has starred in many other popular movies, including Edward Scissorhands (1990), Public Enemies (2009), Alice in Wonderland (2005), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), The Lone Ranger (2013), and many more.
Over the course of the last year, people across the country have tuned in to the ongoing saga of Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard. The trial ended four months ago with Mr. Depp receiving $10.35 million in compensatory damages, but the two settled out of court to essentially end their feud, at least for now.
With the feud between Mr. Depp and Ms. Heard coming to an end, there have been many fans who have wondered if he could reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the next one. pirates of the caribbean 6 Project. Fans have been hoping for the past few months that Disney and Johnny Depp could come to some sort of deal after the two parties severed ties, but it didn’t seem like they were getting any closer.
In fact, producer Jerry Bruckheimer recently revealed that he’d love to see Johnny Depp return, but he didn’t expect the reunion to happen either.
Now the last chance for the two sides to reach an agreement may have passed.
Recently, French entertainment commentator Bernard Montield revealed that Depp had verbal altercations with Joan of Barry Director Maiwenn. Of course, this is the new movie that Depp just finished shooting.
“Johnny Depp is a great actor when he’s on set,” Montield said. “Except sometimes the team is ready at 6 am and no one comes. “Then afterwards, Maïwenn gets mad and the next day, she’s the one who doesn’t come and there’s Johnny Depp,” she added. “It’s crazy. They’re (expletive) off.”
Montield said the two “argued constantly. A report by The News International revealed that there are several European production companies that are interested in working with Johnny Depp, but the big names in Hollywood, which would include Disney, are staying away from the actor, despite winning the defamation trial with Amber Heard. . .
What’s next for pirates of the Caribbean no johnny depp?
While these altercations may not sound like much, it would at least seem like Disney will just be using them as one more reason not to bring the iconic actor back.
Several scripts have been written, and Bruckheimer made it clear in a recent interview that the script featuring Margot Robbie as the main lead hasn’t been scrapped. However, it is not clear which direction Disney will take.
Bruckheimer also revealed that Captain Jack Sparrow won’t be killed off, so we don’t have to worry about the beloved character dying. Instead, these new scripts will likely explore new facets of Pirates.
