In early August, Yash Raj Films marked a decade of Ek Tha Tiger (2012) by announcing the release date for the third installment in the action-thriller franchise headlined by salman khan and Katrina Kaiff. Until Friday, Tiger 3, directed by Maneesh Sharma, was scheduled to hit theaters on Eid, April 21, 2023. However, the release has now been postponed to the upcoming Diwali. Salman introduced the new date of his upcoming Tiger outing with a poster and wrote, “Tiger has a new date… Diwali 2023 is.” While the creators have not revealed the causes of the delay, we hear that the capture should not be more than complete. Shah Rukh Khan, who makes a cameo appearance in Tiger 3, apparently does not film his scenes with Salman. The latter is said to be racing against time to finish his other production company, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Rumors abound that the Farhad Samji directorial project, which is scheduled for release on December 30 this year, could occupy Tiger 3’s Eid date, i.e. April 21, 2023. Rajini, Mani to meet
Chatter in Chennai is that Mani Ratnam and Rajinikanth are more likely to return to work. Almost 32 years have passed since his last gangster drama, Thalapathi (1991). Rajini, who is currently working with director Nelson on Jailer, has signed a two-film cape with Lyca Productions, the producers of Mani’s two-part magnum opus, Ponniyin Selvan. Currently, Ponniyin Selvan: I is racking up money in the field office, becoming the biggest Tamil hit in history. It is mentioned that after Jailer is finished, Rajini will fulfill his commitments to Lyca. However, the celebrity will first shoot a movie with director Sybil Chakravarthy before meeting with Mani.

Although Chiranjeevi’s Dussehra offering, The Godfather, continues to underperform in the field office, he has addressed the debacle of his previous film, Acharya. The film was essential because it marked the inaugural collaboration of megastar and actor-son Ram Charan. With full duty, Chiranjeevi recently said, “I take Acharya’s failure in stride. I have no feelings of guilt for making the film. In fact, both Ram and I returned 80 percent of our compensation to the producer.” Well, don’t ignore the elephant in the room, if the Godfather meets the same fate.
