Doctor Strange 2 Sculptor Offers New Look At The MCU Film’s Wiccan Tease

Doctor strange in the multiverse of madness offered a glimpse into Billy Maximoff’s superhero future potential and sculptor Jonny Moore has offered a better look at the film’s Wiccan statue.

Tommy and Billy Maximoff, played by Jett Klyne and Julian Hilliard, met the MCU in Wanda Vision on Disney Plus, before reappearing on Doctor strange in the multiverse of madness. While the characters seen in Wanda Vision they were magical creations, created by the witchcraft of Wanda, the Tommy and Billy who appeared in multiverse of madness they were alternate versions of Wanda’s children from other universes.

In the comics, Tommy Maximoff becomes the speedy hero Speed, while Billy becomes the magically empowered Wiccan. The twins’ superpowered futures have been hinted at in the MCU, with a major Wiccan tease in the form of an impressive statue in Doctor strange in the multiverse of madness.

During a sequence in which Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch travels to Mount Wundagore, a legendary mountain where the sinister spells of the Darkhold were first transcribed, Doctor strange in the multiverse of madness features Wundagore Castle, a seat of power built long ago for the prophesied Scarlet Witch. The walls are adorned with carvings of the Scarlet Witch and there is also a glimpse of a sculpture of Billy Maximoff in Wiccan costume.

Film sculptor Jonny Moore took to Instagram to give fans a better look at some of the sculptures he created for Doctor strange in the multiverse of madness, including Wiccan sculpture. The statue bears a clear resemblance to Billy Maximoff actor Julian Hilliard, but depicts him in the Wiccan comics threads. Check out Moore’s images below:

In addition to the Wiccan sculptures seen above, Jonny Moore worked on the large Scarlet Witch sculpture also seen in Wundagore Castle and the statue of Doctor Strange from Earth-838, which appeared outside the Sanctum Sanctorum of the Land. It’s still unclear when, or if, Tommy and Billy Maximoff will return to the MCU in their superhero guises, but multiverse of madness it certainly seems to set the stage for at least Wiccan’s MCU debut.
