Real Madrid have given Chelsea a window to salvage a deal for Aurelien Tchouameni. According to Sky Italia, Spanish giants Monaco have already made an offer of €70m (£59.5m) for the 22-year-old.

However, Fabrizio Romano has explained that the French are asking at least €80m (£68m) for the midfielder’s services, meaning there is still a difference of €10m (£8.5m) to be met.

Liverpool and Chelsea have each been credited with interest in Tchouameni this season, giving both sides a window of opportunity. football.london understand that Chelsea have spent more time watching the France international than any other club after a keen interest emerged earlier in the season.

Thomas Tuchel’s side decided against signing the Frenchman in the summer because the club felt the midfielder could have done with another 12 months of development, according to The Athletic.

Man United consider shock-edge offer

Manchester United have expressed interest in N’Golo Kante, according to The Guardian. The report claims United are keen to find out if the France international could be sold this summer as his contract at Stamford Bridge expires next year.

However, the west Londoners are believed to be reluctant to sell the midfielder who is a Tuchel favorite. The 31-year-old has made 42 appearances for the Blues this season but a mounting injury record has hampered his ability to reach the heights he once enjoyed.

Ousmane Dembele could be Todd Boehly’s first signing at Chelsea after the American billionaire’s consortium reached a definitive agreement to complete the £4.25billion takeover of Roman Abramovich. That’s because, according to 90min, Tuchel’s side are “calmly confident” of reaching an agreement on the 24-year-old’s signing this summer.

The Barcelona winger will become a free agent at the Camp Nou next month after his contract expires and the west Londoners are among several sides ready to secure his services. Dembele was put up for sale in January over his wage demands; football.london understand that Chelsea have been monitoring the France international’s situation – but also Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal.
