In the third movie, it was actually because there were so many women in the cast, it was something that Colin felt very strongly about in terms of protecting me…because the conversation came up again: ‘We need to ask Bryce to lose weight.'” .
“[Colin] It was like, ‘There are a lot of different types of women on this planet and there are a lot of different types of women in our movie.’ I had to do so many stunts that wouldn’t have been possible if I had been on a diet.”
Clearly, however, Howard’s experience was not clouded by certain expectations, as he also said: “I’m really excited [at] all the action that I had to do, and I had to do it with my body, she was at her peak strength, and I hope that’s just another indication of what’s possible.”

Bryce Dallas Howard remains one of the strongest elements in the jurassic world trilogy. Not only is he one of the more interesting characters, but he also goes through something of a “motherhood” arc in all three movies.
And like all the other female characters in jurassic world domain – and the rest of the Jurassic series, for that matter: she’s an incredibly strong heroine, and as such an excellent role model for young women.
So hopefully we’ll see his character return for a future installment, or maybe even a live-action TV series. While several other studios continue to insert “woke” politics into their projects, it’s refreshing to see strong female characters like Claire Dearing on the big screen.
Unfortunately, though, given all the negative reviews the latest sequel has received, this is probably something that has been overlooked. Although its box office figures may suggest otherwise…
