Ayo Davis continues to shape her senior executive team at Disney Branded Television.
Davis has promoted Alyssa Sapire to direct content for Disney Junior, overseeing programming for preschoolers such as Mickey Mouse Funhouse Y Dr. toys.
In her new role, Sapire will serve as Creative Manager for Disney Junior content, including development, current and acquired programming, both linear and broadcast.
Sapire was Senior Vice President of Series Development and Strategy, working closely with Kareem Daniel’s Disney Media Entertainment and Distribution group to identify, develop and promote Disney Junior franchise opportunities.

At Disney Junior, Sapire has built a diverse roster that includes young Jedi Adventures, a new winnie the pooh series and Get up, sing, a musical series produced by The Roots. Prior to joining Disney, Sapire held development and programming roles at FremantleMedia Kids & Family Group and spent 10 years at Nickelodeon, where she helped launch Noggin and TeenNick and was a producer at Scholastic.

As part of his appointment, Sapire has established his executive team and installed Kim Berglund as vice president of development; Diane Ikemiyashiro and Lori Mozilo as Vice Presidents for the current series.
